PP707 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Ann
Hey, Stampers! It's Ann! It is my pleasure to host our challenge this week. Before I get to the details, The Paper Players would like to thank everyone who participated in Elizabeth's Primary Colors challenge last week. What fun and cheery cards graced our gallery!
For this month's Clean and Simple challenge, I have selected a "Back to Nature" theme for you. You may feature any plant and animal on your card. I hope you love this theme as much as I do. But remember, this is a CLEAN and SIMPLE challenge. Before you run off to gather your stamps, paper and inks, keep in mind that when The Paper Players use the term "clean and simple", we mean cards that:
Have minimal layers and embellishments
Have plenty of open space
Are simple and uncluttered

PP706 - A Color Challenge from Elizabeth
Hello fellow cardmakers! Elizabeth here for the first time as hostess and I am thrilled to be sharing this week's color challenge with you.
First, thanks to everyone who took part in Joanne's Spots and Stripes challenge last week. There was an abundance of wonderful cards offering so much inspiration!
Given that everyone's kids are starting school around this time, I decided to pick the primary colors of RED, YELLOW and BLUE for our challenge. I think there is so much that you can do with these elemental colors. Of course, black and white are free and you can add another neutral, if desired, such as cream, tan/kraft or gray.
We can't wait to see your creations in the gallery!

Nance's was the final card to enter the gallery, but it was worth the wait: she used a combination of patterned paper, diecuts and stamped images to create a harmonious design full of dots and spots (and the odd stripe too!) that has so much visual interest and detail.
