PP787 Challenge Winners

Hello, stamping friends! LeAnne here! Thanks to all who participated in our sketch challenge this past week! Wow, there were so many fabulous entries with so many different themes!  We enjoyed them all!  Here's what the team came up with as their favorites:

Laurie Unger

Bobby Hagen

Leslie Miller

And finally, for my Headliner:

Carol McFarland

I was totally enamored of Carol's summery, breezy, fun-in-the-sun card!  The background papers have such a tropical feel, and the sailboat looks like it is ready to take a nice little trip to an island paradise! I love how she coordinated the sailboat to look like the one in the background!  So cute!  Congratulations, Carol,  you're my Headliner this week!

Congratulations to everyone!  Be sure to pick up your winner's badges here!  And don't forget to come back tomorrow for a new challenge from Joanne!

PP786 Challenge Winners

Hi, stampers! Ann here! Thank you so much to all who played along in my CAS - Food challenge this past week. Sushi, pasta, fruit and sweets! So many yummy cards had our mouths watering. With several stand-out cards in the gallery, we definitely had our work cut out for us in narrowing down the field to our top picks.

Before we get to our HEADLINER this week, let's take a look at our CUT ABOVE winners as chosen by our design team.

 Arlene Rose - Sundaystamper Papercrafts

Carol McFarland - Saw it. Had to Make It.

And now my choice for Headliner:

Colleen Begley - Colleen's Creative Corner

With its abundance of white space and minimal embellishments, Colleen's adorable card is Clean and Simple perfection.  The lovely lady, in her heart patterned dress and pulled back hair, is as cute as can be.  And seriously, who can resist a cupcake? I'll take a dozen, please! Congratulations, Colleen, on being my choice for Headliner this week!

Congratulations to all of the winners!  Be sure to pick up your badges here.

Please join us tomorrow for a fabulous sketch challenge from the amazing LeAnne.

Until then, happy stamping!

PP786 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Ann

Hey, stampers, it's Ann, welcoming you to a new challenge at The Paper Players. Before we see what I have planned for you, thank you to everyone who entered Claire's color challenge last week. What lovely cards graced the gallery!

This week, it's time for our Clean and Simple challenge. We are looking for Clean and Simple cards that feature food in some way.  This is a fun one, and we can't wait to see what YOU create.  Remember, when we say Clean and Simple, we mean cards that:

Have minimal layers and embellishments
Have plenty of open space, also known as "white" space
Are simple and uncluttered

But before you scamper off to gather your stamps, papers, and inks, please check out what the Design Team created for your inspiration!

Challenge Rules:
  1. Create a new paper-craft project specifically for this challenge.
  2. Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us.
  3. Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge entry.

PP785 Challenge Winners

Happy Saturday and welcome back to the Paper Players.  It's time to announce the winners of PP785.  A huge thank you to all of you who played along with our Color Challenge last week.  It was great to see the different ways you used the bright, bold colors.
Before we get to our HEADLINER, let's see the top picks from our DT this week:

    Deborah Wheeler

    Suzy Hinton

    Bobby

And now on to our HEADLINER:

                                             Colleen Bagley

    Colleen's Creative Corner

Colleen's beautiful card stole my heart from the minute I saw it in the gallery.  I will admit, tulips are my favorite flower.  The purple background and the black panel are the perfect way to draw your attention to all the fabulous words of encouragement on the turquoise.  The scalloped die cut adds a feminine touch and the vellum softens the panel and showcases the beautiful purple tulips.  The bold black sentiment is  a fantastic sentiment to celebrate the new graduate.  Congratulations, Colleen, YOU are my HEADLINER this week!

Congratulations to all of our winners, we appreciate you joining us this week and sharing your wonderful creativity.  Please be sure to come back tomorrow, when the amazing Ann is hosting our Clean and Simple challenge.
